Deakin Law Clinic solicitors attend CLANT Conference in Bali

Clinical solicitors from Deakin Law Clinic, Nicole Siller and Rebecca Tisdale, recently attended the Criminal Law Association of the Northern Territory (CLANT) Conference in Bali, joining legal practitioners, academics, advocates and policy professionals from across Australia and beyond.

The conference marked CLANT’s 40-year anniversary, celebrating four decades of contribution to criminal law practice, advocacy and professional development. The work of Deakin Law Clinic in successfully securing a mercy petition on behalf of Zak Grieve was also recognised as part of a review of CLANT’s history and significant milestones.
