Employment Law Practice

Deakin Law Clinic’s Employment Law Practice assists both employees and small business employers in a range of workplace law matters.

We are able to provide legal advice and, in some circumstances, ongoing assistance in relation to unfair dismissal, general protections (dismissal and non-dismissal), underpayments, discrimination and contractual queries.

We have experience appearing in various courts and tribunals, including the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Fair Work Commission.

We do not act in workers’ compensation matters, industrial disputes or health and safety prosecutions.
