Family Law Practice

The Family Law Practice of Deakin Law Clinic assists clients with matters concerning family violence, de facto relationships and marriages, including separation and divorce, parenting arrangements and property settlements/financial cases.

We assist clients with the following matters:

• Parenting Disputes
• Property settlements/financial cases
• Divorce and Annulment
• Family Violence Intervention Order matters

We do not handle legal matters such as:

• Child support matters
• Binding financial agreements
• Property settlements/financial cases in either marriages and or de facto relationships where the property pool exceeds $500,000.
• Contravention Applications
• Property law
• Conveyancing
• Taxation

We do not act against:

• Other universities
• A former client
